Pineapple is building a professional network for Gen Z that empowers them to showcase their individuality and creativity when looking for their next opportunity.
Candidates create profiles on our platform and then can connect with the businesses, allowing them to connect with brands they would like to work with and ask questions about what careers and life looks like at these brands. Some of the brands on the platform include REVOLVE, DocuSign, Uber and Red Bull and many others.
The next step in our roadmap is to connect candidates with each other thus creating a full professional network for this generation, where candidates can find their next opportunity and start making career moves.
We've recently raised a $1.1mm pre-seed round securing funding from some amazing investors including 500 Global and F7 Ventures, along with some amazing angel investors who were/ are VPs at companies such as Google and Facebook.
We're early in our journey, we're a small but mighty distributed team, spread across Dublin 🇮🇪, Cork 🇮🇪, Vancouver 🇨🇦 and LA 🇺🇸
As the third member of our engineering team you will be responsible for more than just the technical side of the company, you’ll play a pivotal role in forming our engineering culture and processes. We’re a highly product oriented team and you’ll use your knowledge of software in deciding what we build next as well as what the product evolves into over time.
At Pineapple, you’ll have the unique opportunity of getting in on the ground floor of a rapidly scaling start-up, solving problems faced by millions of people around the world. You will get to see all aspects of the business as we roll out new products, expand into new international markets, and grow our team. We move fast at Pineapple, but we also have an emphasis on building a high quality product. We are looking for someone who can strike the right balance between moving quickly and shipping clean code.
You’ll work primarily on our existing iOS product, building features and making improvements.
